Excellent Bosch quality By: MR G., on November 5, 2018 Pros: Cons: "This replaced an older 15 year old Bosch hob model and I think this is even better - it looks very good, has a child lock (which is very good for us) and also features a timer function. Would recommend - especially if you need a slim type hob (ie many other hobs go deeper and may possibly interfer with kitchen drawers etc - this model is one of the slimmest out there - trust me, I had a very good search!) |

The touch controls are a bit fussy and don't really work if your hands are at all damp. On the other hand they are prone to switching off the whole hob if you even wave anything; such as a pan, cloth, or your hand; anywhere near the touch controls. This can be a real nuisance at times and, perversely, the hob doesn't switch off if you drop a cloth or a piece of kitchen roll on one of the heating zones ( where it matters more ). Wiping the ceramic top of the hob... |

Rather Good But Consider Installation Issues By: Harry the book monkey, on August 27, 2014 Pros: Cons: "I brought this hob as I wanted the assurance that a quality brand like Bosch can give. That said if you following this principle you will end up paying a premium when compared with other brands like Beko or Hotponit which may deliver better value for money. I chose to install the hob myself, however be warned Bosch include screws of a unique configuration and there are 5 connections wire up to the mains, 2 neutral, 2 live and 1 earth. In order to make the hob work you need to have a bridging component to... |
