Good while it lasts By: Dr. Adam Jacobs, on January 5, 2018 Pros: Cons: "This is my third Russell Hobbs kettle since 2012. It's good enough while it lasts, but that's not very long. The previous 2 had lasted 2 years each, which is just about acceptable given that this kettle is not the most expensive. This one only lasted a year and a half, which frankly I think is not good enough. Won't be buying Russell Hobbs again. |

It also has little markers inside so that you can accurately fill it with 1,2, or 3 cups of water. Using these means that you use less energy, and it boils in literally seconds. Finally, I like the button to open the lid - no more hot steam on my hand! |

It really is quiet (more quiet the more water you boil, but really still OK with less, eg one cup) , really fast and I have not had any trouble with strange tasting water. It looks very good, the handle is perfect for a small hand (one of the issues I have with kettles- which can make pouring boiling water tricky). The whole family has commented on how good it is, which is really something!! |

Good Kettle, but 18 months on........ May 2016... Well, the kettle is 18 months old now and has got noisier and noisier. The awkward filter is a pain to clip back in when it insists on dropping out and for these reasons, it's going OUT !! Downgraded to 2 stars. |
