I used the Britax filter supplied for the first month and had to descale each and every week. I live in Norfolk an extremely heavy area. In the second month of use I used a cheaper version of the filter recommended by Amazon and was amazed at the difference, no white deposits on the bottom of the kettle for 4 weeks which is the point of replacement. For me a very good kettle but bin the filter supplied and go for the cheaper option. |

Looks stunning boils fast with not problems. Good solid strong build, nice a sturdy. Always change your filter once a month to keep it new looking, this stops any build up of lime scale. I also use it just to drink the filtered water when its cooled down a little, as its so cold this time of year I can't drink cold water. |
