This was brought to clean the carpets in our house and I have ended up using it to clean the car mats and seats. It removes most of the water and the spray handle delivers the cleaning detergent to where you need it without any mess. |

Like Henry, George hardly ever needs the "full power" ... Like Henry, George hardly ever needs the "full power" switch, and when you do, he practically takes the carpet off the floor! I am in love with George and his happy smile already. |

The wet function is incredibly good, cleaning rough brick floors and very soiled carpets with ease. The huge bag for the dry (ordinary) vacuum operation and the extremely long cord make it very convenient for cleaning a big house. The only down sides are the lack of storage for the cord and the hand tools. |

But it's not as bad as it seems, I bought it in 1986, it has lasted me 25 years and has never missed a beat, until now. It has suffered abuse, neglect and had served me well. It has pumped out flooded houses and dried out carpets, sucked out blocked toilets and drain pipes, sucked up rubble and gravel on house refurb jobs.
