Useful addition to supplement a gas hob By: Keep it simple, on September 11, 2017 Pros: Cons: "Excellent item that provides much more control than a conventional electric hob. I purchased it for use in a holiday home to reduce my requirement for bottled gas. It is solidly made with a sensible layout of controls. My only niggle is the use of codes rather than Watts or %s as is used on microwave ovens. Fortunately, most of my existing pans worked but this could be an additional expense. Overall a very good little unit. |

The manual states that on these two settings (1) water will reach boiling point and the hob will switch off while signalling it has reached boiling point with two beeps.
